What is so important about our dry flies?

We have been producing dry flies since the “fifties” tied in “Montage Avance” style (patented in France in the sixties).
– It consist in a forward pushed hackle with a finishing knot behind it.
– It also includes most of the time one cock hackle and one CDC feather. We extended this “exercise” to classic international patterns. We added CDC to Adams, Adams Parachute, Royal Wulff Paracute, Blue Dun, Black Gnat even Humpies.

Finally, we recreated New Zealand patterns with added CDC, Kakahi Queen, Dad’s  Favorite, Twilight Beauty  . We have created  D1 and D2 , which are  Deleatidium imitations having in mind the beautifull Mataura river
